Summer beautification is underway
Crews from the City of Steinbach could be seen driving up and down Main Street and Brandt Street Friday morning, putting up the hanging flower baskets.
Much like seeing the little red Christmas trees go up as part of Gifts of Light signifies the beginning of the Christmas season, seeing the flower baskets be hung from traffic lights in Steinbach is a sign that summer is here.
In addition to the hanging flower baskets, Steinbach residents can expect to see parks and recreation crews in flower beds throughout the city, and working on a variety of other beautification projects as we head into June.
