The Steinbach Fire Department is responding to an incident at a home on First Street in Steinbach.
Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly before noon on Friday.
The incident is located near the intersection of Brandt Street and First Street. While traffic on Brandt Street remains unaffected, First Street is currently blocked off at the intersection as crews continue their work.
It appears the residents of the home have exited safely but further details are currently unknown.
