Power has been restored to the 333 residents affected by the outage earlier this morning.
As of 4:50 am, Wednesday, the Manitoba Hydro Outages Map is reporting that just over 300 residents are without power along Hwy 59 from the 52 intersection north towards PR210, including homes in the Tourond area. MB Hydro estimates electricity will be restored later this morning.
Tuesday afternoon, brought several tornado sightings, hail and high winds across the province. As of Wednesday morning, all severe weather warnings have ended for southern Manitoba with reports that more extreme weather could arrive this afternoon and evening.
Shortly after midnight, the Manitoba Hydro outages map reported that many residents in the Niverville area were without power, which has since been restored.
The highest rainfall amounts in the province fallen so far, have been in southern Manitoba, with many regions reporting over an inch of precipitation. While the highest recorded wind speeds yesterday reached 77 km/h in the Brunkild area.
